The Design and Architecture of Digital Systems Laboratory is well equiped for both teaching and training in the field of electronics starting by the process of simple circuitry design up to complex programming of various families of microprocessors. The laboratory is one room with 12 work benches all individually equipped with a computer featuring all necessary software tools, DC power supply, meter and oscilloscopes. Furthermore, one additional work bench is dedicated for soldering and desoldering station. The equipment of the laboratory includes a wide range of developement kits with different types of microprocessors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA) and digital signal processors (DSP). A partial list of equipment can be found in section EQUIPMENT.

The courses taking place in laboratory often combine teaching of theoretical knowledge with practical demonstrations and exercises or are based on long term practical projects. The laboratory itself is accessible for students not only during courses but also during theirs spare time if it is vacant.
